With a molecular formula of C6H11NO, caprolactam is presented as white flake crystal at room temperature, oily feeling when touched by hand, melted to liquid when the temperature increases, and prone to moisture absorption and caking.
ABS is copolymerized by styrene, acrylonitrile and butadiene, with better resistance to heat and solvent than HIPS, and with luster. With interaction of PS molecular chain strengthened by the strong nitrile polarity, its impact strength, tensile strength and surface hardness of plastics are all better than those of HIPS.
General purpose polystyrene, or simply PS, is a solid polymer that is polymerized by heating the styrene monomer.
